Carl R Rogers.
A warm welcome to you, my name is Aimee Joslin. I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor registered with the BACP.
I provide a non-judgmental, empathic and collaborative space for you to bring all that you are struggling with. I work from a person-centred perspective, putting you at the centre of the work. Focusing on what is happening for you right now, patterns in your life that may emerge and how that relates to your experience (s). I draw on elements of nature, the transpersonal and your somatic experience to support you in your therapy.
I work outdoors in nature in a beautiful woodland setting easily accessible from Devizes, Trowbridge or Westbury, Wiltshire, UK .
In addition I work online, face-to-face in therapy rooms or written email therapy.
I am also trained as a group facilitator . In the past I have worked as SEN teaching assistant and have supported parents of children with SEN in parent peer groups.
Counselling outdoors adds an additional therapeutic quality to the work we do together. Using nature and the elements as guiding tools can support you to explore the challenges you face, your relationships and your place in the world.
Additionally, the benefits of spending time in nature for our physical and emotional well-being are well-documented. Please get in touch if you would like to know more about how this approach might benefit you.
If outdoor working isn't for you but you would welcome aspects and element's of reflecting on the natural world to explore your experiences and emotions, we can bring it indoors or online too!
You can learn more about the outdoor setting I work in below.

Do you want to spend some gently supported time in nature? The art of Japanese Forest Bathing, or Shinrin-yoku, is well-documented as having healing benefits. Taking the principles of this beautiful approach to health and wellbeing we can immerse ourselves into the woodlands and take a break from our hectic, stressful lives. It is a gently guided (by me) exploration of our place in a natural environment and a space to pause and reflect. A general session will include digital detox, walking, observing, engaging our senses, breathwork, barefoot walking, sit spot stillness, reflection and time for a herbal tea drink.
You can do this with me as your guide in either a one to one, as a pair or as a group. Please call or email to discuss.
£30 per hour per person. A maximum of 2 hours. A group discount for 5+ people will apply.
Please note this is not a counselling session nor does it involve bushcraft or wildlife/flora/fauna identification... or actual bathing!!!
